Education Program

Seamark Ranch's Education Program helps children break the cycle of failure by experiencing academic success and rekindling a love for learning. Seamark Ranch's Education Program stabilizes children in crisis by assessing each child's educational needs and developing a plan for overcoming their educational gaps. For children needing a more individualized learning environment Seamark Ranch's on-campus school offers project-based learning through instruction and curriculum geard to each child's learning strengths and weaknesses. As Seamark Ranch grows, we anticipate that 90% of our children will need some individualized instruction through our on-campus school. Seamark Ranch's Education Program also includes our Life Skills Program and Equine Program.

Life Skills Program

In addition to academic classes, Seamark Ranch children take part in classes that build life skills. This program also utilizes project-based learning and teaches a strong work ethic and responsibility, as well as life and trade skills that will benefit each child. Projects include gardening and horticulture, animal husbandry, carpentry, poultry science, domestic sciences, electrical and mechanical skills.

Equine Program

Seamark Ranch's Equine Program provides excellent recreational and therapeutic benefits for our children. An Equestrian Center, complete with horse stables, corrals, pastures and miles of riding trails is planned for the campus. As the children ride and care for the daily needs of our horses, they benefit recreationally, as well as build skills and learn responsibility. In return, our children experience the unconditional love that horses offer.
